GRIT GRIND HUSTLE - GGH

At GGH, we prioritize not just competition, but the education and development of our student-athletes. Our program focuses on strengthening the mind, body, and fundamentals of the game, ensuring players are prepared both on and off the court. Under the leadership of Coach John Fox, athletes receive mentorship, discipline, and high-level training designed to help them grow as players and as individuals.


The schedule for Health and Sports education will be determined throughout the season.

Basketball Fundamentals

  • Teaching core skills: footwork, shooting mechanics, ball-handling, defense, and offensive strategy
  • Emphasis on consistent practice and technique refinement

Film Study & Game Analysis

  • Reviewing game footage to evaluate team and individual performance
  • Identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
  • Learning how to make better in-game decisions through visual learning

Statistical Analysis

  • Tracking and interpreting performance data (e.g., shooting percentage, turnovers, assists)  
  • Using stats to set goals and measure progress  
  • Teaching players to take ownership of their development

Applied Learning & In-Game Execution

  •  Finding better ways to implement tools and skills during real games.
  • Turning practice knowledge into smart, instinctive play on the court.

Health & Wellness Education

 Teaching student-athletes how to care for their bodies during intense training and competition  


Topics include nutrition, sleep, hydration, recovery, and injury prevention. 


Helping players recognize how lifestyle habits affect performance

Mental & Physical Development

Building discipline, focus, and resilience through structured routines and coaching.


Supporting students in developing confidence, accountability, and leadership both on and off the court
